Bright Kids School House
4 - 6 Years Curriculum
Nursery - Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten curriculum for children aged 4–6 years is aligned with Singapore’s Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework, Kindergarten Curriculum Framework (KCF), and PRAISE values. This ensures that every child receives a well-rounded, high-quality education that supports both academic and character development.
We adopt a thematic approach to teaching and learning, where the six learning areas are integrated under common themes and taught in both English and Chinese. This makes learning meaningful, engaging, and bilingual.
Children progressively build their knowledge, skills, and dispositions across all domains, with teachers planning integrated activities that ensure continuity from year to year. By the end of K2, children are confident, independent, and ready for a smooth transition to Primary 1.

Nursery 2
In Nursery 2, children embark on the Jolly Phonics programme, sparking joy in early reading and writing while building strong communication skills. Beyond literacy, our nurturing environment allows children to grow in confidence, independence, and social awareness — learning to share, take turns, and express themselves positively.
Kindergarten 1
At Kindergarten 1, children’s natural curiosity is nurtured through hands-on, play-based activities that encourage exploration and problem-solving. Teachers guide children to develop:
-
Good habits and routines that support independence
-
Social-emotional skills through teamwork and collaboration
-
Resilience and adaptability, helping them face new challenges with confidence
This balanced approach ensures that learning remains engaging while gradually preparing children for greater responsibility in K2.
Kindergarten 2
Children will be preparing for Primary One transition, and our programme will prepare them to face the real world. We aim to ensure that children graduating from Bright Kids are ready academically, physically and with the basic life skills derived from our Bright Values.
